Written by Troy Brewer  |  Found in: Main Articles

Several years ago, on a missions trip to England, I spent a day on a train from London to Edinburg. Leanna and I stepped out of the station and saw the incredible Castle for the first time. It took my breath away!

FRESH FROM THE BREWER: FIRES IN THE SKY

Written by Troy Brewer  |  Found in: Main Articles

The once in a lifetime event was over in just a few seconds. A giant Fire Ball came streaking across the Russian sky at over 40,000 miles an hour. Everybody in that part of the world either rushed outside, pardon the pun, or to the windows, for a down to earth explanation.

FRESH FROM THE BREWER: WHEN THE LIGHT TURNS ON

Written by Troy Brewer  |  Found in: Main Articles

There are some really smart people in this world. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I am however, aware of stupidity which might make me a little higher on the cerebral food chain. Maybe not, but my lack of being able to comprehend real smartness, probably allows me to think so.

Written by Troy Brewer  |  Found in: Main Articles

I thought I would write a really different column on Christmas than most you will read from Christians this year. I dare to dabble into the part of Christmas most of us hate. Can a Christian even say that? I think so, as long as we have a really good attitude about our hatred and disdain. If you didn't think that was funny, you may consider not reading the rest of this.

FRESH FROM THE BREWER: Sane Thoughts on Crazy Things

Written by Troy Brewer  |  Found in: Main Articles

Life moves a lot faster these days and all of us know it’s the truth. I think even the bible declares that as we get closer to the return of Jesus, that “...The days would be shortened...”. Forget your zombie apocalypse, you walking dead fans out there. Einstein was right when he said time was relative and can speed up and slow down. To those of us who are Christians, it means Jesus is coming back.

Written by Troy Brewer  |  Found in: Main Articles

I have traveled a lot this year and when I got back into town last week from West Africa, I wanted to catch up on the news.

Are you kidding me, Andy Griffith died? Really?
